Hi, I'm Oluwapeluwa Ibrahim. Ipeluwa to most people. I'm a backend and systems engineer, currently the founding product engineer at Tracix, where I work on a multi-tenant observability platform: ingestion and query paths for logs, traces, and metrics, ClickHouse and PostgreSQL underneath, a Go collector at the edge.

Most of my work lives in Rust. I've contributed heavily to open source around the PostgreSQL and DataFusion ecosystem: 100+ commits on Timefusion, merged work in DataFusion Postgres on transaction semantics and connection handling, and protocol tooling in Tapgres. On the side I'm building Tracegres, a flight recorder for PostgreSQL that tries to make database incidents reconstructable instead of anecdotal.

This site is deliberately small: no analytics, no tracking, no newsletter popup sliding in from the corner. Just writing about systems, tools, and whatever else I'm chewing on. There are likes and comments at the bottom of each post, because I would rather hear from you than measure you. Neither one asks you for an account.

The domain is .wtf because that is the honest reaction to most production incidents.
